“The research will also look at cardiac transplantation. We are studying how to manipulate the suppression of the patients’ immune system after receiving a cardiac transplant. The plan is to improve patient outcome by manipulating their immune system.
The research will be carried out on patients’ at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. It will be done in collaboration with University College Dublin. The research supervisor is Mr. Jim McCarthy Consultant Cardiac Surgeon and Director of Transplantation at the Mater Hospital.
All research is done with the patients’ consent and with ethical approval from the Hospital”

Boosting Women’s Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneur , Rita Shah has been invited by European Parliament – to participate at “Boosting Women’s Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century” on 7th October, 2011 at the European Parliament in Brussels.
